Office cleaning checklist
Use this to evaluate your current cleaning service, write a scope of work, or just know what "clean" should actually cover.
This is a general-purpose checklist, not a promise of exactly what any specific vendor includes — always confirm the actual scope of work in writing. See our Office Cleaning page for what's typically included in our own plans.
Every visit (daily or per-scheduled cleaning)

- Wipe down desks, counters, and shared surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms — toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors
- Restock restroom and breakroom supplies (paper products, soap)
- Vacuum carpeted areas and high-traffic floors
- Mop and spot-clean hard floors
- Wipe down breakroom tables and counters
- Empty and reline breakroom trash
Weekly

Monthly or periodic
- Dust vents, light fixtures, and baseboards

- Post-event or post-project deep clean
How to use this list
If you're evaluating a current or prospective vendor, ask them to map their actual scope of work against a list like this one — see our scope of work guide for what a good written scope should look like. A vendor who can't clearly say what's included at each frequency is harder to hold accountable later.
